Relay for Life scheduled for July 19 in Hoffman Estates
There is still time to sign up for or donate to the Schaumburg/Hoffman Estates Relay For Life, which will be held from 6 p.m. Friday, July 19, to 6 a.m. Saturday, July 20, at the Virginia Mary Hayter Village Green, 5510 Prairie Stone Parkway in Hoffman Estates. The event, which includes raffles, games, music, on-site fundraisers and other activities, is a way to celebrate cancer survivors and remember those who are still fighting, or have lost their lives to the disease. Proceeds go to for the American Cancer Society. In the case of inclement weather, the event will be held at the Prairie Stone Fitness Center, 50 Sedge Blvd. in Hoffman Estates. The public is invited.
