Mt. Prospect police looking for missing teen

Mount Prospect police said Friday they are looking for a missing teen who ran away from home this week.

Kristinmaylee Serrano, 17, has not been seen since leaving home on Wednesday. Police said she is an insulin-dependent diabetic and is believed to have a limited supply of insulin with her.

Kristinmaylee often goes by the names “Kristy” or “Kristin.” She is approximately 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds. She has long black hair that is typically curly and worn in a ponytail.

Police are asking the public to contact them if they see her or have any information on her whereabouts at 847-870-5656.
