Mario Andretti to visit Palatine June 14
Racing legend Mario Andretti will appear at the grand opening celebration of Firestone Complete Auto Care in Palatine on Friday, June 14.
Andretti will meet with the public and sign autographs from 10 a.m. to noon at the new store, located at 1980 N. Rand Road. The Italian-born race car driver is a four-time Indy Car National Champion and winner of both the Indianapolis 500 and the Daytona 500.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 11:30 a.m., followed by lunch at noon. For more information, call the store at (847) 358-2019.
