O’Connor connects for Stevenson

Stevenson 11, Glenbrook South 2: Abby O’Connor hit 3-for-4 with 2 doubles and 4 RBI for the Patriots. Among Stevenson’s offensive standouts were Dana Morgan who hit 3-for-4, including a 3-run home run, 2 runs scored and 4 RBI.

Sara Loerch hit 2-for-5 with a run scored. Sam Feder got the win for Stevenson (16-13).

Lake Zurich 12, Wilmot (Wis.) 3: The Bears improved to 5-0 this week, outscoring their opponents 66-6. Lake Zurich (19-9) was led in the circle by Olivia Schneider, who pitched 4 innings. She allowed 5 hits and struck out two.

The Bears got 3 hits apiece from Kaylee Grant (2 doubles, 2 runs scored, 3 RBI) and Katie Brown (3 runs). Carlee Parsons and Maria Schroeder each contribued 2 hits and 2 RBI.
