Huntley snares 7th straight regional title

Huntley 7, McHenry 0: Taryn Jakubowski and Deanna Hecht each had hat tricks to lead Huntley to a win in the championship game of the Class 3A Rockford Guilford regional. Katie Costantino scored the Red Raiders’ first goal, while Jessica Brock, Abigail Nordeen (2), Beth Parks, Hecht and Jessica Helm all had assists. Kelli Rubino had 8 saves in goal for Huntley (17-4-1), which will play Barrington at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Jacobs sectional.
