Free bash for special needs kids

Lexi’s 8th Annual Birthday Bash, a free event for children with special needs and their families, is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 2 at the north pavilion of Independence Grove Forest Preserve off Route 137 just east of Libertyville. The event features food, games, a DJ, Lorelei the Clown, RC Juggle balloon artist, an inflatable slide and other activities. The event will be held rain or shine.
