Arlington Heights man gets probation in DUI

An Arlington Heights man was sentenced to 18 months probation and 100 hours of community in exchange for his guilty plea Thursday to aggravated DUI.

Daniel Chiguil was arrested earlier this month after managers of a Mount Prospect bar said he threatened another customer. Chiguil, 24, was charged with aggravated DUI, a class 4 felony, after they found him sitting in his idling truck across the street from the bar. The man who Chiguil allegedly threatened refused to press charges.

Chiguil also was ordered to undergo drug and alcohol evaluation and to pay $2,022 in fines.
