Turkish cultural center opening in Mount Prospect

The Turkish American Society of Chicago is holding the grand opening of the Turkish American Cultural Center from 11-a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 23, at 501 Midway Drive in Mount Prospect. Dignitaries present include Suleyman Turhanogullari, president of Turkish American Federation of the Midwest, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey Bekir Bozdag, Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky and State Treasurer Dan Rutherford. There will be food and entertainment and visitors can tour the center, which includes dining facilities, guest rooms and suites, conference rooms, offices, a sports complex and catering services.
