Public session on Route 45 plan

The Illinois Department of Transportation is hosting a public hearing regarding Route 45 improvements from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Sullivan Center, 635 N. Aspen Drive, Vernon Hills. The purpose of the hearing is to present the preferred alternative for the proposed work on Route 45 from Route 60 to Route 22. Exhibits will be on display and an audio visual presentation will play every half-hour. IDOT representatives will be available for questions. This is a follow-up to the last public session in May 2009, which resulted in several changes to the proposed plan. Visit www.vernonhills.org.
