NBC picks Hawks-Wings for national broadcast coverage

In conjunction with the National Hockey League and NBC, the Blackhawks' Jan. 17 game against the Detroit Red Wings at Joe Louis Arena will be televised nationally on NBC.

To accommodate the broadcast, the game time has been moved up to 11:30 a.m.

The Blackhawks are already scheduled to appear nationally on Versus an NHL-high nine times during the 2009-10 season.
