Cost Plus World Market to reopen in Hoffman Estates

Cost Plus World Market will host a grand reopening of its Hoffman Estates store on Oct. 14.

The store, at 2720 N. Sutton Road in the Poplar Creek Shopping Center, closed in February 2009, along with 25 other Cost Plus World Markets across the country.

A Schaumburg store also closed in 2008. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place and the store will offer free samples of food starting at 9:45 a.m. on Oct. 14.

News that the Hoffman Estates store would reopen first surfaced in June when village officials announced the business had applied for a liquor license.
