More at work than scientists will know

It is too bad for Joe Bauer (Fence Post, April 24) for he is in the dark on evolution. While there is ample scientific evidence of the evolutionary process among species there is no missing link from ape to man.

Your citing of "secular scientists" and 'secular' is the key word and not a comprehensive justification of your belief. First of all, all you have to do is look around, and into the heavens, to see how complex and diverse the universe is. It alone is evidence that there is a God with a plan.

As well, many scientists looking at the same evidence your so called 'secular' scientist have, have concluded the same (God's plan). There is even a God Equation proposed by an atheist, David Cumming, an artificial intelligence engineer who is CEO of Edinburgh-based Intelligent Earth. He is one among many other scientists who have concluded there is much more at work here than man can ever understand. Every time scientists make a breakthrough they discover 10 times more that they do not understand.

Joe, there is no "missing link." The story of Adam and Eve might seem trite, but please take the time to study the Bible more closely and discover the many meaningful truths inspired and written therein. Perhaps this time through, assuming there was a first time, the Holy Spirit will enlighten you and bring you true understanding.
