Summer Music at Bethel to feature 11-year-old violinist

On Friday, July 14, Summer Music at Bethel presents 11-year-old violinist and singer Sylvia Pine in concert at Bethel United Church of Christ in Elmhurst.

Daughter of the internationally acclaimed violinist Rachel Barton Pine, Sylvia's exceptional talents have been recognized worldwide and her recent accomplishments include performances in Carnegie Hall, the Musikverein (Vienna) and the Royal Albert Hall (London).

Pine will be accompanied by Music at Bethel artistic director Jeffrey Panko.

The concert will begin at at 7 p.m. at the church, 315 E. St Charles Road. It will last approximately 1 hour, with a brief intermission.

Parking is free and the church is accessible. A freewill donation will be accepted at the door. A reception will follow the performance.

Parking and entrance are behind the church. Enter through Sandburg Middle School from St. Charles Road, or from Huntington off Poplar Street.
