Mayors attend Wheeling/Prospect Heights chamber lunch

The Wheeling/Prospect Heights Area Chamber of Commerce and Industry is holding its annual lunch featuring the State of the Village and City Addresses noon Wednesday, Jan. 26 at Tuscany-Wheeling, 550 S. Milwaukee Ave., Wheeling.

Wheeling President Judy Abruscato and Prospect Heights Mayor Dolly Vole will speak about the plans for each municipality for 2011.

The chamber also is holding a Chocolate and Champagne Networking Expo from 4-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9, with numerous other chambers at the Crowne Plaza Chicago/Northbrook,

2875 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Northbrook. Tickets are $15 for chamber members until Feb. 2 and $25 for nonmembers or after that date. Attendees receive a ticket for a glass of champagne or a nonalcoholic beverage, and the chance to enjoy tastings of chocolate while networking with exhibitors of all types of businesses.

Other participating chambers include Buffalo Grove Area, Des Plaines, Glencoe, Glenview, Mount Prospect, Palatine, Skokie and Wilmette.
