Wheaton woman dies after Indiana crash

A Wheaton woman died as a result of injuries sustained in a car crash in St. John, Ind., on Thursday, authorities said.

Mary McCann, 74, was involved in an accident Thursday afternoon on Route 41, according to the Lake County, Ind., coroner’s office.

She was pronounced dead at 6:22 p.m. at St. Anthony Medical Center in Crown Point after sustaining “blunt force injuries,” officials said.
