Self, Orchard pace LZ to 3-set win

Layne Self and Amanda Orchard had monster matches in leading Lake Zurich to a 22-25, 25-21, 25-14 victory over Lake Forest in girls volleyball on Monday night.

Self rolled up 13 kills and 6 blocks while Orchard finished with 11 kills.

Amelia Leng added 8 blocks and setter Kristen Walding had 22 assists for the Bears, who move to 19-10 on the season and 4-2 in North Suburban Lake Division play.
