Missing Maine Township man returns home safely

An 81-year-old Des Plaines area man reported missing Tuesday has returned home safely to his family, Cook County Sheriff's police announced this morning.

The sheriff's office had earlier in the day issued a call for the public's help in locating William L. Robinson, who had been last seen Tuesday afternoon driving away from his Maine Township residence on a trip to a local grocery store.
