Art opening showcases Hinsdale Center's student work

A celebration and art opening was held on Saturday, Nov. 12 at the Salt Creek Wine Bar in Brookfield, showcasing the paintings of some of Hinsdale Center for the Arts' adult students from Madeline Shea's Painting Studio Class.

The exhibit showcases works in oil, watercolor and acrylic produced since September at the HCA.

Family, friends and art lovers gathered to toast the artistic growth and achievement of the artists and indulge in delicious appetizers and fine wine.

The artwork is for sale and the show is ongoing through Jan. 12.

If you are interested in exploring and expressing your creative side, the HCA invites you to call (630) 887-0203 or visit our website: www.hinsdalearts.org for information on classes currently offered for adults and children in dance, music, theater, visual arts, writing and yoga.
