Riverside Auxiliary’s ‘Kaleidoscope’ gala is Feb. 26
The Riverside Foundation Auxiliary will hold its annual black-tie optional gala Saturday, Feb. 26.
Themed “Kaleidoscope,” the popular event will take place at the Lincolnshire Marriott Resort starting at 6 p.m. It will include dinner, music and dancing featuring the band Maggie Speaks, a grand raffle and a variety of unique live and silent auction items.
Gala Grand Champion Baxter Credit Union, Gala Grand Benefactor Signal Tech International Inc. and Gala Benefactor Instrumed International Inc. are supporting the event.
Proceeds directly benefit the Riverside Foundation, a charitable organization serving adults with developmental disabilities.
It includes a residential facility in Lincolnshire on Half Day Road and Riverside Developmental Services in Vernon Hills on Corporate Woods Parkway. The Riverside Foundation Auxiliary is a volunteer organization working to advance the welfare of the foundation and its clients.
Riverside Foundation Auxiliary members Diane Geissler and Anna Panchisin are co-chairing this event for the second year.
“We selected the theme ‘Kaleidoscope’ because we felt Riverside’s residents represent the ever-changing colorful patterns in a kaleidoscope with their individual beauty and unique personalities,” Geissler said.
“We want everyone to take a look inside our ‘Kaleidoscope’ gala and support us so Riverside Foundation can continue to shine brightly.”
Gala tickets are $175 per person and must be purchased in advance. For tickets and details, contact Riverside Foundation at (847) 634-3973 or purchase tickets online at riversidefoundation.net.
