Another source of Catholic push-back

The Nov. 7 article on Catholic rage identifies a number of areas where Catholics are pushing back against the Catholic Church establishment. A lesser-known point of resistance relates to theistic evolution, the official view of the Catholic leadership.

The Kolbe Center for the Study of Creation (www.kolbecenter.org) espouses the view of creation held by the church until the 19th century, namely that God created the world recently in only six days. Hugh Owen of the Kolbe Center and his associates are to be commended for taking on the establishment in this important area.
