Barrington forum on teen alcohol use
The Barrington Area Drug Prevention Coalition will host a community forum to present facts and concerns about alcohol use by Barrington-area teens at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 26 in the auditorium of Barrington High School, 616 W. Main St., in Barrington.
Educators, physicians, mental health and legal experts, parents and students will discuss the issue, including local data on student alcohol use.
For parents, an informal brown-bag lunch discussion on the topic will follow from noon to 2 p.m. Friday, April 29 at Barrington Middle School - Prairie Campus, 40 E. Dundee Road in Barrington. Participants can bring their own lunch; water and soft drinks will be provided.
