Foster cast vote for average American

I would like to commend Congressman Bill Foster for his recent vote in support of the health care bill that was passed in Congress. This bill puts an end to some of the worst practices of the health insurance industry.

It also provides some small business tax credits to encourage them to cover their employees. It's nowhere near a "government takeover" of the health care system, as employers for the most part bear the brunt of the cost, and premiums for the most part, are paid to for-profit insurance companies.

My employer is facing severe financial problems with the ever-rising cost of health care coverage. My premiums increase each year, and the employer is requiring us to pick up a higher share of the tab.

Congressman Foster heard an earful from both sides on this issue, and in the end, cast a vote for average Americans and didn't side with the insurance lobby.
