Falcons extend tender offers to RFAs Schraeder, Worrilow

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. (AP) - The Atlanta Falcons have extended second-round tender offers to restricted free agents Ryan Schraeder and Paul Worrilow and have re-signed exclusive rights free agent Ricardo Allen.

Schraeder, a right tackle, and Worrilow, a linebacker, have become starters after joining the Falcons as undrafted free agents. The tender offer is worth $2.553 million for the 2016 season. The Falcons would receive a second-round pick if either player signs another team's offer that Atlanta does not match.

Worrilow has led the team in tackles three straight years. Schraeder allowed only two sacks in 2015, according to Pro Football Focus.

Allen started 14 games and had 68 tackles with a team-leading three interceptions last season.
