Report: Belushi aims for Blues Brothers marijuana brand

Actor and Wheaton native Jim Belushi says he wants to develop a Blues Brothers brand of marijuana and get it into Illinois stores when recreational marijuana becomes legal next year.

"Illinois is going to be a huge market," Belushi told Crain's Chicago Business.

According to Crain's, Belushi got into the marijuana business after Oregon legalized its use a few years ago.

"He says he's serious about plans to drive a replica of the Bluesmobile - topped with a joint instead of a giant PA speaker - on Lake Street under the el to mark the occasion," reported Crain's, which also said Live Nation has agreed to a reality TV show about Belushi's venture.
