West Chicago plan commission to hold hearing on residential development

West Chicago is poised to review plans for a 269-lot residential development along Smith Road.

The city's plan commission will hold a public hearing on the proposal from Pulte Home Co. LLC. The hearing is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 15. on Zoom.

Plan commissioners are considering a request from Pulte for a preliminary planned unit development and preliminary plat of subdivision for the project on a property on the south side of Smith between Route 59 and Klein Road.

Those wishing to participate in the public hearing should use the city's teleconference platform, Zoom. Learn more on how to sign up at westchicago.org.
