One injured in McHenry Twp. collision

One man was injured in a collision Wednesday evening in McHenry Township, according to the McHenry Fire Department.

Authorities responded at 5:09 p.m. to the intersection of Route 120 and Chapel Hill Road after reports of a two-vehicle crash.

Authorities said a pickup truck collided with a sedan at the intersection, causing severe damage to both vehicles.

One man was taken to Northwestern Medicine McHenry Hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

The crash is still under investigation.
