Mount Prospect budgeting wins honor for 27th time
The Mount Prospect Finance Department has received the Government Finance Officers Association Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for its 2017 budget, marking the 27th time the village has received the award.
"The village has consistently been conservative and responsible in regards to budgeting," Finance Director Dave Erb said in a news release. "We, as a village, value long-range planning to ensure the village is fiscally sound and stable."
