Lisle man unfurls Bears flag
A Lisle man, Brian Krieger, and his nephew, Michael Bastuga, helped unfurl the "Bear Down" flag during pregame ceremonies at Sunday's Chicago Bears home game against the Detroit Lions.
Krieger was diagnosed with severe congestive heart failure when he was just 36 years old. He underwent treatment with Dr. Mahesh Raju and Dr. Ali Valika at Good Samaritan Hospital and Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
He currently is undergoing cardiac rehabilitation at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove. Good Samaritan is part of Advocate Health Care, which is a sponsor of the Chicago Bears.
