Rotary Club of Schaumburg Hoffman Estates Raises $120,000 to Eradicate Poverty in our Community by supporting College Education, the Trades and Local Non-Profit Organizations
The Rotary Club of Schaumburg Hoffman Estates, is proud to announce that it has successfully raised an impressive $120,000 at their most recent Classic fundraiser, on May 6, to contribute toward empowering high school graduates and supporting local nonprofit organizations. As part of our commitment to Eradicate Poverty in our Community, $45,000 of the raised funds have been given toward scholarships for deserving high school graduates, while $75,000 has been be donated to various local nonprofit organizations.
The Rotary Club of Schaumburg Hoffman Estates team recognizes the significance of education in shaping a brighter future for individuals and communities. By offering scholarships to high school graduates, we aim to provide them with the necessary financial support to pursue higher education and unlock their full potential. These scholarships are designed to enable students to access quality education, broaden their horizons, and enhance their prospects for success. These scholarships are for 4 year Universities and Applied Technology schools for Automotive Repair. Much needed starter Toolkits have been awarded as well.
Furthermore, Rotary Club of Schaumburg Hoffman Estate is dedicated to making a positive impact within the local community. We firmly believe in the power of collaboration and recognize the invaluable contributions made by nonprofit organizations in addressing various social challenges. By donating $75,000 to local nonprofits, we strive to bolster their efforts and strengthen the crucial services they provide to those in need.
