Hawthorn Hustle walk/run set for Oct. 26 in Vernon Hills
The Hawthorn Hustle walk, run or roll to benefit Hawthorn Elementary District 73 schools and students will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, starting at the sled hill at Century Park North, 1401 Indianwood Drive, Vernon Hills.
The cost is $25 for the 5K races; $15 for the fun run (adults) and $10 (kids), with a $75 max cost per family. Early bird pricing ends Oct. 10.
Strollers are welcome.
The check in event will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, at Middle School South, 600 Aspen Drive, Vernon Hills. Rain date is Nov. 9. Every registered participant will receive a T-shirt. Volunteers also are needed.
