BCUZ stops by Farm to Fork Fest, Family Fun Night and Silver Games

Eat local at Volkening Heritage Farm, play at The Sport Center and go for the gold at the Silver Games on the latest episode of BCUZ, which will air Sept. 26 through Oct. 10.

A news digest show produced by WSPD-TV, the Schaumburg Park District's cable TV station, BCUZ airs on Comcast Channel 15, Wide Open West Channel 14 and AT&T U-Verse Channel 99. Air times are midnight, 7 a.m., noon and 7 p.m., Monday through Sunday. Chicago metropolitan area at 3:30 p.m., Thursdays, on Comcast Channel 35. Viewers also may watch the episode at www.parkfun.com.

The show opens at Spring Valley's Heritage Farm where Dave Brooks, manager of conservation services, explores local fare at the second annual Farm to Fork Festival. Later in the episode, Assistant Facility Manager Derek Dvorak visits The Sport Center Family Fun Night. Senior Supervisor Lisa Perrone reports from the Silver Games where Schaumburg seniors competed in fun events designed for all levels and abilities.
