Party like the Roaring '20s at St. Isidore's Great Gala

Supporters of St. Isidore School can enjoy a night out while helping the Bloomingdale school raise money for technology and other programs with The Great Gala.

The 1920s-themed gala includes an auction and dinner dance on Saturday, Feb. 27, at Belvedere Events and Banquets, 1170 W. Devon Ave., Elk Grove. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

The Great Gala includes a four-course dinner, unlimited top-shelf bar and dessert bar, as well as both a live and silent auction and a Grand Raffle. Dancing will be to the tunes of Magsino Mobile Entertainment. The annual event historically raises more than $65,000 annually to support school programs.

Through Fund-A-Cause bidding, supporters can enter an auction knowing the money they spend will be put toward technology-related expenses such as Chromebooks, tablets and infrastructure. Auction items include gift certificates to local merchants, pro sporting event tickets and weekend getaways.

More than 300 items will be available to bid on via either the live or silent auction, donated by dozens of individual and corporate contributors from across the Chicago area.

Even those who can't attend the event can get in on the auction by bidding via text, smartphone, tablet or computer at Isidore16.myab.co.

This year's gala brings back the Grand Raffle with a grand prize of $15,000 and additional cash prizes of $1,500, $1,000 and $500. Tickets are $100 each, with only 530 tickets being sold.

Gala tickets are $85, which is tax-deductible. Gala or Grand Raffle tickets may be purchased online at stisidoreparishschool.org or by calling the school office at (630) 529-9323.
