Mount Prospect vehicle stickers now on sale

Mount Prospect 2020-2021 vehicle stickers, which must be displayed by May 1 on all vehicles registered to residents or businesses in the village, are now on sale.

They can be purchased online at www.mountprospect.org/vehiclestickers, by mail or drop box, or in person at village hall, 50 S. Emerson St. Prices are $45 for passenger vehicles, $30 for motorcycles & motorbikes and $68 for Class B trucks. Full-size trucks are charged by class/body weight. Reduced rates are available for residents 65 years of age and older.

Renewal applications are mailed to residents and businesses early this month. Stickers may also be purchased online without a preprinted application. Full-price passenger vehicle stickers also can be purchased at the Elmhurst Road Currency Exchange, 1698 S. Elmhurst Road, #106. There is an additional $2 service fee per sticker.

Those who did not receive a renewal application in the mail are still responsible for purchasing a sticker. A late penalty will be added to the cost after April 30. Citations may be issued to vehicle owners if current stickers are not displayed by May 1.
