LifeConnect Fair on Feb. 15
Windsor Park retirement community is opening its doors on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. for a peek at life inside the faith-based continuing care retirement community. The 5th annual LifeConnect Fair is an opportunity for area seniors and their families to talk with residents about life at Windsor Park and learn about LifeConnect® programming, designed to enrich lives and offer opportunities for whole-person wellness and growth. Windsor Park is located at 124 Windsor Park Drive, Carol Stream.
"Living options and pricing are important when choosing a retirement community," explained Sales Director Janet Cannon. "But the people, culture, and programming are the heart of the community. The LifeConnect Fair is an opportunity for people to try us on for size and see what we're all about."
During the fair, residents will share how they optimize wellness through activities, clubs, and programming, including metal working, the creative arts program and wood shop, fitness programs, spiritual and community outreach opportunities, cultural events, and more.
Learn about the Windsor Park Center for LifeLong Learning, which presents opportunities for continuing growth and enrichment through education, including the creative and performing arts. Take home some energy saving tips from Kay McKeen of S.C.A.R.C.E., a guest of Windsor Park's Go Green! Team, which leads the community's recycling and conservation efforts. Visit information booths, talk with residents, and enjoy a light brunch.
Registration is required for this free event. Please call 877-836-5664 or visit www.WindsorParkIllinois.org.
