Candidates to address League of Women Voters

Candidates for local, state and federal offices in the March 15 primary election are scheduled to appear at a public forum Saturday, Feb. 27, sponsored by the Wheaton and Glen Ellyn League of Women Voters and the Wheaton and Western DuPage chambers of commerce.

The forum begins at 9 a.m. and runs through 4 p.m. in the auditorium of the DuPage County Administration Building at 421 N. County Farm Road in Wheaton.

County board candidates will participate in a meet-and-greet at 9 a.m. and answer questions at 9:30 a.m. Candidates for county recorder and state Senate District 25 and House District 42 will make remarks at 10:50 a.m. Other candidates for the General Assembly will participate in a meet-and-greet at 11 a.m. Candidates from the 6th Congressional House race will meet voters at 1:30 p.m. and U.S. Senate candidates will follow at 2:30 p.m. with a question-and-answer session at 3 p.m.

The event is free.
