Repairman dies from fall at Schaumburg house

A 63-year-old Lake Zurich man died Tuesday from an accidental fall while doing repair work on a house in Schaumburg, authorities said Wednesday.

The Cook County medical examiner's office determined the death of Ivan Koretsky of Lake Zurich to be accidental, the result of a fall from a height, as well as blunt force injuries of the head.

Schaumburg police said their investigation determined Koretsky had been doing work on a house on the 800 block of Adler Court at the time of his death at approximately 2:20 p.m. Tuesday.
