GLENDALE, Ariz. - The Chicago White Sox hired manager Rick Renteria the day after the disappointing 2016 season ended. General manager Rick Hahn raved about Renteria's teaching ability, and that skill set has been on display during the first week of spring training in the desert. Renteria talked to many of the Sox's young hitters before batting practice Friday at Camelback Ranch.
