Mount Prospect Family Bike Ride set for Saturday

The Mount Prospect Special Events Commission is sponsoring a Family Bike Ride on Saturday, Aug. 17, at Melas Park, 1500 W. Central Road.

Registration will be available on site, starting at 9 a.m., with the official welcome and bike ride kickoff at 9:30 a.m. The bike ride will offer three different paths to choose from: 1-, 5-, or 10-mile rides. A free raffle drawing will be held at 11 a.m.

The Family Bike Ride is sponsored by the Mount Prospect Special Events Commission, Mount Prospect Fire Department, Mount Prospect Police Department, Mount Prospect CERT Community Emergency Response Team and the Mount Prospect Park District.
