MCRide Dial-A-Ride Service available in Fox River Grove in 2019

Beginning in 2019, all Fox River Grove residents will have access to a coordinated dial-a-ride service called MCRide.

This curb-to-curb, demand-response public transit service provides rides within and between all of the partner municipalities (Fox River Grove, Crystal Lake, McHenry, Woodstock, Huntley, Marengo, Johnsburg, Harvard, Richmond, and Union) and Marengo and Riley townships.

Riders may also be transported to other select locations such as Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital, The Hollows, Valley Hi Nursing Home, and the Fox Lake Metra Station.

Seniors and people with disabilities have the added benefit of receiving rides to and from McHenry, Dorr, Grafton, Greenwood, Nunda, and Richmond townships.

Seniors and people with disabilities receive all rides at a reduced rate.
