Fox Lake holiday event on Saturday

The annual Fox Lake parade and tree lighting will begin at 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26. This year's theme will be celebrating "Christmas Around the World." The annual event kicks off at Grant High School, travels west along Grand Avenue to Town Center Plaza at Grand and Rollins Road. The Christmas tree lighting will take place at Millennium Park on Rollins at 6:30 p.m. There will be caroling, hot chocolate, and Santa Claus. Children of all ages are welcome to attend and receive a surprise gift from Kriss Kringle. For information, check out the village of Fox Lake website at www.foxlake.org.
