Donate Blood at Schaumburg's Community Blood Drive Jan. 23

The Village of Schaumburg encourages the public to participate in the next Community Blood Drive that will take place from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 23 at The Barn, 231 S. Civic Drive in Schaumburg.

The blood drive is open to the public. Participating donors will receive a coupon for a pint of Culver's frozen custard and will be entered into a random drawing for a chance to win one of four $25 Walgreens gift cards.

Interested participants should call 1-877-25VITAL (1-877-258-4825) or register online at www.vitalant.org and use sponsor code SH98. Appointments are recommended, but walk-ins are welcome.

Schaumburg partners with Vitalant to offer five blood drives a year for the community to help with blood donation. Visit https://bit.ly/2QbAFoe for additional blood drive dates offered by the Village of Schaumburg.
