Port Clinton Road closure

Motorists are reminded that Port Clinton Road in the Vernon Hills area will be closed to traffic for two weeks beginning at 6 a.m. Thursday, July 28. The villages of Vernon Hills and Lincolnshire will be making improvements to the bridge deck on Port Clinton Road between Route 45 and Indian Creek Road. This project is scheduled to be completed by Wednesday, Aug. 10, weather permitting. Detour signs will be posted.
