Letter: Don't be the pot that calls the kettle black
In the article "Will Flynn's endorsement trumps others in hot GOP primary?" a Pritzker spokesperson refers to Michael Flynn as follows: "Big lie-touting, disgraced former Trump official who lied to the FBI tells you everything you need to know about the Illinois GOP."
I wonder how this spokesperson refers to her boss. I remember Pritzker telling the entire state he would veto any partisan redistricting map sent to him. In my opinion, he received just such a map and there was no veto.
Could this be construed as a fib? I think so, but if further evidence is needed let's look at the toilets in Pritzker's mansion. He made a claim to the county assessor's office the mansion was uninhabitable because there were no working toilets. That was a fib, and he eventually paid the back taxes owed due to that.
This statement from the Pritzker camp is like the adage of the pot calling the kettle black. Politicians hope people forget their own hypocritical mistakes, and when election time arrives too many have. I have a long and very good memory when it comes to these things.
