Streamwood environmental education day April 23

The Streamwood Natural Resource Conservancy Commission will hold an e-waste collection, document shredding and prescription drug drop-off event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 23, at the Streamwood Police Department, 401 Irving Park Road.

Information on gardening, water quality, native plantings, recycling, and energy conservation also will be available at the Streamwood Environmental Education Day.

A demonstration of live exotic animals will be held from 1 to 2 p.m.
