Lake Zurich d. Carmel: Lake Zurich earned a 25-18, 25-23 sweep over Carmel, thanks to balanced offense.
Lake Zurich got 6 kills from Nate Amos, 5 kills from both Nick Meyer and Alex Krasowski, 4 kills from Andrew Gilbertson and 3 kills from Jake Gorey.
Setter Jeff Carmody had 24 assists for the Bears, who improve to 6-2.
For Carmel, Mike May had 11 kills and 11 assists.
Jack Herron added 12 assists and Maksym Kolomayets finished with 4 kills for the Corsairs, who drop to 8-6.
