The skinny: Los Angeles is 3-1-1 in its last five games with those victories coming over San Jose, Anaheim and Calgary. … The Kings have defeated the Blackhawks in both meetings this season, including 6-3 victory March 2 at Staples Center. The Hawks took two penalties in the first three minutes and were behind 3-1 after one period. The Hawks did end up tying it in the second period, but the Kings responded with 3 unanswered goals. … The Kings are led by Anze Kopitar (21G, 35A) and Dustin Brown (21G, 27A). Defenseman Drew Doughty has a career-worst minus-30 rating. It is also second worst in the NHL this season.
