Vernon Hills finalizes plan for paying residents to trap skunks

Details of a skunk removal and assistance program being offered by Vernon Hills and the Vernon Hills Park District have been finalized.

Residents interested in contracting with a licensed animal control specialist will qualify for reimbursement of up to $75 per trapped skunk. A required rebate request form and other program information is available at http://www.vernonhills.org/. Residents must use licensed trappers to be reimbursed.
