Bills agree to sign defensive end Fede to 1-year contract

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) - The Buffalo Bills have agreed to a one-year contract with free agent defensive end Terrence Fede.

Fede was used exclusively in backup and special teams roles in spending his first four NFL seasons with the Miami Dolphins. He has one sack and forced two fumbles in 51 career games.

Fede became the first player from Marist to be drafted by an NFL team when the Dolphins selected him in the seventh round in 2014. He is listed at 6-foot-4 and 267 pounds and will compete for a backup job.
