Lake Forest College student of Lisle wins award
Pegah Nabili, class of 2018, of Lisle was awarded the Carr Prize in neuroscience at Lake Forest College. Nabili, a neuroscience major, earned distinction in her senior thesis, was on the Dean's List three years in a row, and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She will work at the Tahirih Justice Center, a non-profit organization based in Washington, DC, that works with refugee women and girls fleeing from violence. Lake Forest College is a national liberal arts institution located 30 miles north of downtown Chicago. The College has more than 1,500 students representing 44 states and 72 countries.
