Growing up in Wauconda storytelling night Friday

Growing up in Wauconda will host a storytelling night beginning at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 24, at American Legion Post 911, 515 S. Main St., Wauconda.

Speakers include Neville Carr, Joe Lincoln, Dave Geary and LeRoy Hampel. Sharing stories and memories of Wauconda is encouraged.

The event is sponsored by Wauconda Township Historical Society. A $5 donation to the historical society is recommended. Cash bar available.
